It’s a gorgeous converted building from the former B&O railroad headquarters. Very nice.
The line was a little long to check in so the Head of House cleaning checked us in. He was a very nice and helpful gentleman. I saw him the next day vacuuming the entry way. He’s an all hands on deck kind of guy. Seems like most people are at this Kimpton.

Things in the room missing Door pulls to one of the dressers pulled out completely, things that needed to be tightened- just need more attention to detail. Restaurant food was meh at best- powdered scrambled eggs yuck!

Great that they have saved an old building. Lenny the bartender in the evening was great!
Negatives:
Rooms are in need of a refresh. I moved from my first room because it smells of cigarette smoke. The toilet barely flushed in my second room. There are no amenities such as coffee in the room.
Plan on waiting for a while if you have breakfast in the restaurant. They are understaffed. They are also out of simple items on the menu such as any toast other than white.

It was conveniently located near the Convention center, and the rooms were clean, with minimal outside noise. The reception was helpful and friendly.

Rooms seemed a little outdated (nowhere to plug in a USB cable to charge my watch and furniture is a little old), but it was comfortable. Some unsavoury characters lurking nearby, but walking around in the day time seemed safe.
