Staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast. We had a few issues with the room which was disappointing. Nice to have a workout room on site, but all 3 bikes were broken or not able to connect.
Negatives:
The water faucet where the water comes into the bath tub was poorly resealed and was about to come off the wall. I got into the shower to get ready and there was no water. They didn't notify the hotel guests about the disruption in service which would have been helpful. The bicycles in the gym for one reason or another were broken. The outside sitting area was not clean - liter and cigarette butts on the ground. No safe in the room so I had to carry my jewelry and wallet with me wherever I went.

Size of room, we paid extra for a room with a balcony, fridge in room, delicious breakfast, Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
Furniture and carpets were worn, curtains were torn, stains on seating. Day of check-out the maid tried entering our room at 8am and then again at 8:20am, even though check out was at 11am. I did tell the front desk about the incident.

Negatives:
The room was not clean when we got it, and there was standing dirty water in the sink. Also, we booked a room for three people with a sofa bed, but didn't like that we had to open the sofa bed and make the bed ourselves. The breakfast was American breakfast, which I assume some people like, but we thought that it was very unhealthy with very limited healthier options. It had almost no vegetables or lean protein, no whole bread etc.
In addition, the hotel is pretty far from Washington DC, but we knew that when booking so just FYI to anyone planning to tour the city.
