This hotel is centrally located. You can walk or bus (public transit) anywhere. I used the NIH shuttle and it was such a blessing on this trip. Restaurants inside and walking distance. I felt safe at all times of the day as a solo, female traveler.

Beds and pillows are so comfortable! Room was upgraded to King on 10th floor so it was very large and had a view. Their check-out is much later than most and they graciously allowed another hour for our flight.Starbucks in the lobby was fabulous and the location by metro and Bethesda unbeatable.

The atmosphere was amazing. The cleanliness was impeccable. The customer service was thoroughly unimpeachable.

The hotel does not have room service. The bed was extremely soft, not worn. I cannot use a soft mattress. This is a personal take away not a reflection on the quality of the mattress.

Not only do they overcharge, but also don't communicate when you want to correct such things.
Since I discovered this and contacted them via Booking, they have not answered yet. It's been 12 days without an answer.
Be careful.

The bed was great! Pillows...

The room as quiet and clean. It was very close to the Metro and downtown Bethesda. There were two coffee shops below - a Starbucks and another one, that had very good food. Overall, it was nice and I'd stay there again.
Negatives:
There were no drawers to put my clothes!
