It was convenient location for me
Negatives:
When I reserved this room through a third party, it said smoking room. When I arrived, I was told it was a non-smoking room. The heater didn’t work, the tv picture was fuzzy, there was no coffee maker, no refrigerator, & no tissues in the room. It was not very clean either. The bedspreads were ancient w/burn holes in them. Cigarette butts in parking area not cleaned up.

Skip the breakfast and stock up at the store. Coffee, yes, but not much else to offer besides donuts, cold cereal, instant oatmeal packs. Some yogurt, juice, fruit would be nice.

The shower walls need the grout cleaned and needs the mold cleaned and new caulking put around the tub, there was dirt around the toilet and a very bad ring of dirt around the rim of the sink, the carpet left our feet very dirty

Shower was hot and the bed was reasonably comfortable. The outside hose was convenient to rinse off the bikes prior to bringing them inside.
Negatives:
The upper floors of the hotel appeared to be occupied by permanent residents.

Good enough for biking
Positives:
Location was great for our short trip away from home. Close to a lot of fun things. Enjoyed Cacapon, Berkley Springs. Nothing is far away in West Virginia or Maryland. Young man with curly long hair, I forgot to get his name, at the desk was so nice and helpful, full of advice. Plus he was so friendly. Breakfast is definitely for on the go but worked for us. Rooms were updated and very clean.
Negatives:
The exterior needs a little refresh but would not deter us from staying again. The inside made up for the exterior for sure. Would stay her again 100%.
