We like everything about his hotel. Very big and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast and super friendly staff. A lot of parking sports are available. There is a nice park and stores near by. Metro is just few miles away. Great for family with kids.

The staff at the hotel was excellent. Also, the wings at the hotel restaurant were memorably meaty. I really enjoyed those.
Negatives:
There were instances where I found the cleanliness of the hotel lacking (tabletops sticky and spilled food left on the floor). Also, at one point, one of the elevators in the hotel was taken out of order...and I was on the 4th floor.

I like the idea of having a stovetop, large fridge and separate living area from the bedroom. It’s great for extended stays.
Negatives:
What I did not like was the noisy environment. You can hear everyone moving around in the halls. Also it’s not conducive to anyone working remotely when they are cleaning during the day. A constant smell of not food but burning plastic fumigated the room and halls. Also more importantly, this property has mice and they changed my entire experience. No entertainment unless it’s cable tv and your fire stick will not work if you try to connect it to the internet.

It was nice to be able to have whole family in room. I know are kids are adults, but when traveling still want them close and this room provide beds for all, since I have a girl and a boy. We also had sitting area so that once back to hotel we could sit and watch TV without having to use beds and not have a back support. Very nice. We visited sites of Washington DC and this was conveniently located out of the major hustle as well.

I paid for a room with a fireplace and they didn't have any more so they put me in another room with no price adjustment. Gave me 2 bottles of water to compensate since I had prepaid my room. Never doing that again or staying there!

Positives:
- The room is big enough for a family of 4.
- The room has a kitchenette, allowing you to cook yourself.
- There is a wonderful gym, spa and swimming pool.
- Breakfast is excellent, offering a large variety of things to choose from.
- Staff is very helpful.
- The location is perfect. It lies outside washinhton dc, in a quiet neighborhood. If you have a car, you can park in the rockville metro station parking, 10 minutes from the Homewood suites (5 dollar). Then you can take the red metro to Washington dc, in about 30 minutes.
Negatives:
The heating did not work properly, there was no toilet paper in the restroom and the kitchen gear is very limited (especially knifes, spoons etc). We called for the toilet paper and got it in 5 minutes. We also called for the heating. That could not be fixed during our stay, unfortunately. I recommend Homewood suites staff to prepare this after our stay, for future customers. Also for the kitchenette, I recommend to add some gear, to make the stay for a future family more comfortable. But these are suggestions, recommendations. Overall, we had a wonderful time here.
