Positives: This feels like a hybrid hotel/apartment complex, which it apparently is, because it appears some people live there medium-or long-term given people with signs on their doors saying that they have dogs or cats. It is set in a very woodsy office park setting with walking/running trails around it (in the woods and by the Merrimack River) which made it quite nice. The outdoor firepit, full breakfast and fitness center were nice amenities. We enjoyed having an actual suite like a small 1 BR apartment with a kitchenette and couch in the living room that pulled out into a second bed. We'll definitely stay here again. At about $270 a night it was expensive but it seems the price of all chain hotels and motels has skyrocketed since covid.
Negatives: The only quibble was that there was not a full sheet set provided for the pullout couch and we had to order those up, but no biggie.

Positives: The location is nice. Easy to reach by car and the travel time to downtown Boston is not too bad. The Andover area is nice. The size of the room was good. The comfort of the bed was OK. The bathroom was sufficiently spacious and clean.
Negatives: The room was not great. It was next to the engine room. Old and very simple furniture. While the bathroom and kitchen were clean, the carpet in the living room and bedroom was not well vacuumed as you could see dog's hairs. Also on the sofa in the living room. We had to ask twice to get the body wash and shampoo refilled. But then they forgot about the tissues. Wifi was down for two days (out of the 4 days stay). Breakfast was not great. Very limited choice. Bananas and apples were the only options for fresh fruit. The scrambled eggs were overcooked. Orange juice from a machine, not fresh. No fresh yogurt. The cleanliness of the breakfast room is mediocre. Therefore, we decided to have breakfast somewhere else (despite breakfast being included). There are some delicious acai bowls nearby.

Not the best Marriott Experience

Positives: The room ITSELF was nice....the kitchen, 2 bedrooms and the bathrooms were fine, but the furniture and bedding in the living area was STAINED. Room was fine except they need to up their game with the bedding and stains on the carpet and upholstery. In that area they completely FAIL. That's too bad because the suite itself was nice. The fireplace and kitchenette were VERY NICE. The 2 rooms, each with a bathroom were very nice. It's too bad that gross bedding would keep me from going back there.
Negatives: Some of the offerings were substandard....the eggs were fake eggs, the hard-boiled eggs tasted like rubber. The toaster absolutely did not work..put an english muffin thru 2 times and absolutely no toasting whatsoever. The waffle maker was good-waffles tasted good. No fruit (bananas would be nice). So stick with cereal and yogurt and the waffles. OJ was good. The sofa and chair had STAINS. I didn't want to sit on them. The roll-out sofa mattress had a HUGE BLOOD STAIN (like someone had their period on it) that had been bleached. I took a picture and will be talking to Marriott about a refund. The fact that someone put a mattress cover that grossly stained, back on the mattress is inexcusable. Apparently there are no standards for this Marriott hotel. I called to get it changed. Hotel clerk was flustered about what to do about it but finally realized that there was a non-usable room and she switched our mattress with that room. The replacement mattress was also stained but not gross like the first one. I asked for more sheets to put on top before I would sleep on it. NO INTERNET. They claimed it had been down all week. We did fine without it, but for some it would have been a deal-breaker. THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN VERY UPFRONT ABOUT THAT....poor customer service that they did not want to divulge that. IT HAD BEEN DOWN FOR A WEEK. It's not as if it had just gone down. We were there for a funeral and needed to print out a eulogy. Tried to print it from the lobby but printer was OUT OF INK. Asked the clerk if she could print it from back room. She was not very friendly about our request, but she did it. Because of the failure to tell us about NO INTERNET, and the fact that their staff puts blood stained bedding back on the beds tells me I cannot trust Marriott to uphold minimum cleanliness standards. MARRIOTT owns that brand...so it is a MARRIOTT FAIL. Also, air conditioner was not quiet. It should not make rattling noise when used.

Positives: Staff was very helpful and friendly. Trash was everywhere outside for two days. Pool was lovely. Disappointed the hot tub was broken. Staff said they were waiting on a part. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms are outdated
Negatives: We have a service dog my family member is a disabled Veteran. Disappointed we were harassed about the nature of hos disability. We had identity theft Problem with my card. Staff called us at 1 30 am. With infants in the house this is very rude and high
