Location is excellent, access to the Lynx gym is a big plus and generally the staff are friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
There was a strike for two days of our stay. We were expected to cross the picket line on several occasions. Credit to the striking staff, they did not make you uncomfortable and were careful to facilitate entry and exit easily.
Management communicated nothing about the strike or the curtailment of services to guests including no room service and rooms not being made up. I had to go seeking toilet roll and fresh towels. When this was raised with management they said that all I had to do was come do to reception and I could get fresh towels, as if this was a reasonable position for a paying guest. No offer of a discount for the disruption. After arguing with a manager he was only willing to offer a discount of less than 10% of the stay. Generally a very bad experience and impression of Hilton hotels.

Location was nice, lobby is nice, that’s all I can really say.

Room was super disappointing. Basically feel like I got one of the worst rooms at the hotel. 5th floor way over one side. Room was tiny, which I kind of expected. Wasn’t impressed with linens or comfort of the bed.
Had to pay a $4 handling fee to get something shipped there, and it was handled by fedex, so if they were not open you can’t even get your package… They put a $150 hold on your card when you check in which I just found annoying. They give you a $15/day credit at the bar, but one drink is $21.. anyway, I expected all of these costs, but would have hoped to be in a better room.
