Positives:
The staff was lovely. The location was good.
Negatives:
The shower was pathetic. There was no bath and the room was tiny.

Positives:
The location of the hotel is perfect for site seeing in Boston - walking distance from both a T station (which can easily get you to Fenway) and the start of the Freedom Trail. The hotel is a bit dated in its decoration (but this is also part of the appeal of staying here so hard to be too upset about it) - but has a modern gym in the basement level that isn't too crowded. Overall a great place to spend a couple of nights in Boston.
Negatives:
The food at the restaurant was just OK (and a bit on the pricier end of the spectrum for what you get).

Perfectly situated historical hotel
Positives:
Such a classic style hotel and central to downtown.
Negatives:
The beds were a bit smaller than the norm. The parking was a bit on the high side and took quite a while to get your car back from the valet (make sure to call ahead)

Boston is such a beautiful city. We love it!
Negatives:
There are so many things to do and see. The Parker House is located by everything. Twenty minute walk to great food, TD Garden, the warf to take Harbor Tours and historical buildings/parks.

Positives:
Hotel is centrally located. Easy to walk to all the attractions
Negatives:
Room is small and very outdated. Most of the staff I encountered is very nice and pleasant except for Neil at the checkin desk. very unprofessional and so rude.
The hotel didn’t inform us of the hotel workers strike going on so it was very loud with all the screaming and banging on empty buckets. The strike started at 6 am in the morning and lasted until the night so it’s super hard to rest and relax in your room. My vacation was definitely ruined.

Positives:
Breakfast was not included and available at a premium cost of £49.
Negatives:
Service was appalling , we had to request coffee and tea bags and milk. The cups were disposable and teaspoons were not provided. The room cost £350. per night! and there was no maid service on Sunday and we were left without clean towels.

Positives:
Friendly helpful staff and fantastic lobby
Negatives:
Breakfast ridiculously expensive. King De Luxe was not De Luxe. Just a standard room with a king bed. Window filthy, air-conditioning was very noisy. Not worth nearly 400 dollars a night

Very good
Positives:
We arrived before the check in time & the staff waived the early check in fee. Enjoyed the coffee maker in the room.
Negatives:
When we arrived, the picketers were very noisy, making the lobby uncomfortable to be in. The hotel management should have settled the strike earlier. The restaurant closed early, the lounge didn't open till 4pm. When our group of 6 went to purchase the Boston Cream Pie, there was only 4 available. The service was poor, didn't get enough spoons, had to go to the bar to get a beer, & had to wait for the check. The chair in our room needed some maintenance being it might have broke if I leaned to far back on it. They should have a common area on each floor, where if you had a group you could converse or play cards. Each room should at the very least have a queen size bed, we had a small bed.
