The breakfast and the hotel lounge areas and lay out were excellent and well thought out. It could use some Gluten Free (bread or cereal) options though. The daytime staff was excellent. The room layout, clean appearance and comfort level was pretty good as well.
Negatives:
The night front desk clerk was dismissive and rude, not listening to or addressing well questions asked of him. The room had a slight off-putting smell, maybe the rug. The AC/heat didn't properly work and neither did the room phone. I would have rated it 8 or 9 if not for these factors, mostly the first impression made by that clerk.

When we showed up, the woman at the desk told me that she had cancelled my reservation due to seeing previously booked reservations, and that we would need to contact booking.com. I stepped away to call, and then tried giving her my confirmation number and she allegedly spoke to the manager that also confirmed that the reservation wasn't there. None of this was reflected in the app, and I was forced to book another room. During this interaction the woman at the desk had changed her story to say that a reservation was never seen in their system. This was a very frustrating start to our stay.

Had breakfast to use some of the “resort” fee and it was not pleasant. When we arrived, I asked for assistance from the front desk with the online check-in process. The fact that the staff made me stranded by requesting for deposit sum even when is not part of the original amount and it was never stated that I am expected to pay a deposit before being granted access to my room. I even offered to pay cash but was not received and I was allowed to stay for long before a friend could rescue me by using his Card. Is so unfortunate that I had to suffer for no fault of mine.
