Several of the light bulbs in the lamps I wanted to use most were gone and I had to be changed to another room that also had missing lightbulbs, I asked housekeeping and no one ever came back with the lightbulbs

This Home2 was so welcoming! Hotel employee at the front desk was amazing - she answered all of our questions and helped us get parking and bathrooms for the kids before check in time. She even helped us navigate the trains to get us into Boston.
Negatives:
The only thing we didn't like was the distance to the nearest train station, which is not something anyone can fix. BUT the experience we had was so excellent that we have decided we will stay there again despite the walk.

Layout and floor plan were good, like breakfast area and workout room.
Negatives:
Just a little too far from scheduled events.

Worst hotel experience that I had ever had experienced, they had additional fees for parking and charged me 800.00 for additional room fees which was not listed in their online booking process. I had to keep requesting to have my room serviced.

None of the staff members that clean the rooms spoke English and I felt like I was literally in another country and they was rude at times.

Excellent location and facilities
Positives:
spacious room, hotel is renovated, there is a shopping center around the corner of the hotel
Negatives:
- area is not safe (many homeless people), we used Uber every day because of that, hotel keeps entrance doors closed for this reason afaik
- room was new, however AC was old and very loud, room had strong old carpet smell
- breakfasts were not great (batter for pancakes was sour, hot water smelled bad and could not be used for beverages)
- staff at reception was not friendly, however resolved they fulfilled all our the requests
