We should have been notified that there was active construction in the hotel AND outside. We woke up to loud construction across the street at 8am. There was also very smelly construction on our floor. We raised it with staff and they said it was overdue roof renovations. That explains the leaking in our bathroom. We were very disappointed with our stay. Again, we should’ve have been notified about the construction inside and outside.

Unfortunately, it did not tell us at the time of booking the hotel is under construction. This wouldn’t have been a problem, but the construction continued until 8pm and we have a toddler. This may not seem like a big deal, but getting to sleep over an hour later than usually really throws things off. We inquired a few times when it would stop but were told “should be wrapping up soon.” This was very disappointing after paying for a room.

This is our go to hotel when we visit our family every few months. The staff is so friendly and kind. The rooms are roomie and clean. Bonus they have a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in each room. Lots of choices for breakfast. Always Pleasant stay there!
