Positives: Staff was extremely helpful. Much appreciated. Also liked the location of the hotel.
Negatives: First room. Extremely frustrating getting keys to work. Door lock was broken. Could not open to the room unless spouse was insife. Another guest also complained about using the keys. Changed room. Keys were not easy to use, but workable after a time. Kitchen counter had screws put in to fix a problem. One of the screws was not seated properly, and WILL cut someone at some point in the future. Dresser had seen better days as the bottom of it was damaged. Breakfast lacked sufficient variety.

Positives: The proce was good compared to staying right in salem.
Negatives: We arrived room was gross hair in tub. dirty washcloth. Fan did not work in bathroom it was mildewy in room. Air conditioner stayed on at 62 otherwise broken with no heat. Pull out couch had stains everywhere. Staff said rooms were booked so they could not move us. We could not get mattress exchanged. We left early due to this.

Positives: The guy who worked Sunday night at the front desk was terrible. He acted like he was doing me a favor by working. I asked for more towels because we had four people in our room and was only given 3 towels. He told me I had to bring my dirty towels from my room to the front desk in order to get new ones. I was like I have never heard of that but ok. Then when I did that I asked for new ones and he had attitude and said I’m working on it. He was in the Landry room and I could see the bag already done for him with new towels. He just didn’t want to give them to me. The. The night before we asked for more Tolkien paper and I was told we could only have one roll because they were running out. The room wasn’t cleaned and there was hair all over the shower, sink and the drawers. Also the free breakfast that is included was a granola bar or muffin and we had to ask every morning for coffee to be made. They just kept telling us how short staffed they were. It was a horrible experience and the guy working Sunday night should not be there.

Negatives: The room smelled musty. Both mornings when we went for the "breakfast" the coffee was empty and supplies for coffee were at a minimum. It felt as though nobody even was paying attention to the breakfast area. When making the reservation it did say free breakfast included, what it didn't say was that the breakfast was just a light grab and go breakfast consisting of coffee/hot chocolate, oatmeal and prepackaged muffins or bars. Not what I had in mind compared to other hotels that offer an actual breakfast when advertising free breakfast.
