Room was spacious. Room was somewhat clean

Stayed here for 1 night before we flew back to the U.K as we stayed here beginning of our week long trip.
As soon as we checed in and made our way to the room it was on theholiday inn side, not the staybridge suites side which i originally booked for to use the kitchenette facilities.
As we got into the room we knew straight away it was not the room we book in the first place.
We contacted reception this was not our room we booked for and apparently thi reservation was changed without any contact whatsoever by the Manager...who didn't tell us of this change.
Makes it more worse that this change was made when we were staying the first 3 nights in the same hotel!!
After making the complaint about the room there was othig else that could of been done as the hotel was apparently fully booked.
Spoke to the assistant manager nextt morning who gave us abit of a discount, but main thing was that the manager didn't tell us anything and hoped we wouldn't notice. Which i thought was very sly.
Sums it up when on the tv it said. "GOOD MORNING RAJ"
The room wasn't even under my name.
VERY DISAPPOINTED
So top tip.
Make sure you get the room you originally booked for!!

Positives:
Very good stay, room was clean.
Very spacious rooms. Showers were very good.
Very good cooking facilities in the room which was very helpful with a stop & go supermarket only 5 min walk away.
Subway only 5 min walk away, but as of writing this they were supplying bus replacements to the next station.
Breakfast was very delicious.
Staff in reception were very nice

large and modern room with everything you need - kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, toaster and dishes, comfortable bed. the room has a safe, iron, hairdryer - everything you need. There is always coffee and tea in the lobby, it is very convenient. There are restaurants and Target close to the hotel

Hotel was ok, it was close to the metro station, and it takes ~30 min to city center. Breakfast was the same each day but it was okay, complimentary coffee/tea was nice.
Negatives:
Staff on the reception were acted annoyed that we came, we needed to actively ask for basic questions like what is the breakfast time. But maybe we were just unlucky and came to the single unfriendly/unprofessional person :), since other days, stuff looked much more professional.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
It had also a kitchette, huge fridge and sink.
They have breakfast available in the morning, with fruit, yogurt, eggs and meat.
They also have a laundry room available for free, you just need to provide your own detergent, with tumble dryer.
There are a Target, Walgreens and few shops in the area.
Negatives:
Nothing, the only annoying bit is the underground line there, which is really slow.
No problem with the hotel but consider it in your travel plans.

Positives:
Very clean, large rooms. Nice lounge and common areas. Breakfast was very good. Ample parking (although seemed pricey at 15$ a night). Location was a short walk from many restaurants. Liked that I could open window for sleeping.
Negatives:
Garbage can in lobby was overflowing and trash was left for hours in common areas, suggest that all staff take responsibility for keeping the common areas clean as these small details degrade the overall hotel experience.
