Positives:
Short walk from the train station but in the opposite direction of main points of interest in town. The variety of food offerings for breakfast was outstanding, but I’d make a point of getting there when they first put it out. They had a good system for leaving my bags after checkout until the evening, requiring you to show ID upon retrieving them.
Negatives:
The room and bathroom were pristine, but upon using the tub spigots, something wasn’t quite right (loose fixture). Outside the hotel’s control, but the town of Springfield has a lot of litter on the ground, transient or homeless folks milling about, asking for money, food, weed. Enough to make some folks uncomfortable.
