Negatives: The design

Negatives: We ate dinner at the restaurant. There was only one very nice young man serving the entire dining room. My salmon came out practically raw, had to go back. My husband was finished with his meal, when mine returned.

Negatives: The breakfast was cold

Negatives: They were no really receptive to the hockey team even though it is pay to play

Negatives: I would organize better the breakfast

Negatives: The room smelled very strongly of urine and pets. The bed sheet had a brown stain. Many parts of the walls looked like they had been caught on fire at some point.

Negatives: Privacy and rooms set up

Negatives: Staff was completely unfriendly and not helpful. They were not able to direct us to the train station, sites, etc. There weren't any local maps, sightseeing information, or a concierge to help. Every staff member we asked said they were not from around there or Boston. No one helped with knowing about amenities in the hotel. The breakfast was the worst we ever had at an Embassy Suites (that is one of the reasons for the us booking the hotel). There were no waffle, pancakes, or french toast options for the kids, and literally every day, they served chicken sausages that were super dry. What happened to Bacon?!? The evening reception didn't have the complimentary beer or wine, and the time was extremely short. It is usually 1.5-2hrs, but this location was only 1 hour, and they were cleaning up before the hour was up. The rooms were dingy, old, and needed repairs. The sofa had stains on them, and the pull out couch we needed to use as a bed was as thin and hard as the floor! The pool was nice, but we had to call to have the lights turned on. It was completely dark. (And when I called, the staff didn't even wait to understand what we needed... heard pool... said the hours and what floor it was on... I had to repeat the request several times before they understood what we needed.

Negatives: I won’t stay here again as they add ticky tack fees to the costs which are poorly displayed before registering. I looked at staying on their direct web site and saw a room fairly priced at $179. But then they add on $83 of taxes and fees which are not broken out. This is ridiculous. It isn’t clear even then whether this includes the $15 per night fee for parking plus the $11.95 daily internet fee. This is the only suburban, park yourself outdoor parking fee I have ever seen. Same thing for their daily internet fee as they must think they are an in town Ritz Hotel establishment. If they are going to charge these ridiculous fees………a “resort fee” etc out in the burbs on a busy highway………then at least display them prominently up front.
