Negatives:
It reeked of smoke. There was paint peeling off the walls. It didn’t look clean at all. The bed sheets gave me a rash and made me itchy. The lights in the bathroom kept turning off, and the remote to the TV had dead batteries in it. I would have checked out, but I was just there on a short stay for work. I would never stay here again.

The only food available was one chocolate muffin or dry packets of oatmeal. No juice, fruit, bread, etc.
No coffee maker or coffee is provided in room. No dishes or pots and pans. Not even a stopper for the sink. They cost more.
Slow internet is free and sufficient for web access. To stream costs additional $$.

Positives:
Inattentive staff, two separate properties with nothing to distinguish them to an out of town visitor, pull out bed revealed tons of trash under couch, broken furniture everywhere to include lobby, halls, and rooms. No coffee maker in room, stale/expired muffins in lobby, dirty facility (though woman we found cleaning our room after we checked in at 6:30pm was nice, getting to the room while it was being cleaned on day of check-in was not expected.) Guest receptionist at property at 42nd was outright hostile and rude. The one at the 52 property seemed to be annoyed when I checked in and a different employee acted like I was bothering them during check-out. In all, a bad experience.
Negatives:
Everything. The rooms were in severe need of repair, the towl rack over the toilet fell on my son (no injury beyond disappointment) missing drawers, carpet peeling from wall, unfinished fixture hole in ceiling, smells in room and halls. The pull-out bed had old, dirty linen when we arrived. The pullout was probably the barest definition of a bed, no pad, busted springs and hardware. The curtains were insufficient (one panel per window) and the lam in the corner of the room prevented us from fully opening that curtain.
