I believe this hotel needs to improve its management! The staff had no experience handling unexpected situations, and the hotel manager failed to show up in a timely manner to manage the issue. As a result, we were left dragging our luggage late at night, after 11 PM, searching for alternative hotels. We almost ended up sleeping on the street!
The problem arose because the hotel had overbooked, leaving many guests without rooms upon arrival. However, the staff did not inform us of any resolution or next steps, and we waited for a long time with no information. The final outcome was merely an offer to upgrade our room for the next stay.
Do you think this kind of resolution would encourage us to choose this hotel again?

Convenient location, but there are plenty of other hotels. Breakfast was fair, only available until 8:30 and the kitchen was closed promptly at 8:30.
Negatives:
First, we were put in a handicap room. I should have asked to change. My bad. The hide-a-bed/couch was so dirty, we only put our suitcases on it. We were told this property was clean, our room wasn't. We were in town for a family funeral, and were advised to stay at this property. It was a mistake.
Not realizing we would not get a change of towels for our stay, when we asked for additional towels, the request was ignored.
