Positives:
The location is excellent, and the historic hotel has recently undergone a beautiful renovation. The spaces are spacious, with high ceilings, and the floors are carpet-free, which is a great advantage for those with allergies. Unfortunately, there is no breakfast room, but there is a good restaurant and a coffee shop on-site. The common areas are comfortable and elegant. The price is very reasonable.
Negatives:
The lack of slippers and the absence of a breakfast room with a buffet.

The hotel is amazing -- our room was very comfortable and clean, and exceeded our expectations. The building itself is beautiful! Excellent vibe all around.
Negatives:
1) My room keycard somehow de-activated three times, so I had to go to the front desk several times to get a new keycard.
2) During the morning of my departure, I texted the valet parking number to retrieve my car. It took quite a while for them to pull my car out.

Beautifully renovated building. Location was fabulous! Less than a 10 min walk to all sports complexes. Plenty of restaurants. Never needed transportation while in downtown Detroit.
