Elevator dropped us 10 floors due to what the electronic voice called minor malfunction.
We tried using the stairs after that. We walked down from floor 16 just to get trapped in there because there's no ground level door that will let you out without setting off an alarm. We called the front desk to let us out. They came about 30 minutes after we called. Wife started having a panic attack while we were trapped in the stair well.
How do they not have a way out of the stair well using room cards from floor 16?

The anticipation of a beautiful hotel that has been awarded 5 stars by Booking.com. Unfortunately we were very disappointed -
Negatives:
Unfriendly staff at check-in, room was not ready, the air conditioning was programmed far too cool (and could not be adjusted), no room cleaning, in the spa it was freezing cold, in front of the hotel entrance there were "strange" people - the icing on the cake was that the cleaning destroyed my blazer. At least they realized their mistake and made a refund.

We were charged over 70 dollars for beverages we took out of the mini bar and set on the dresser overnight. We then returned the items in the morning. Then they had the audacity to charge me 25 dollars for using the mini bar for storage. Ridiculous. Never again

Negatives:
The bed was dirty. The bottom sheet hasn’t been changed and had multiple stains on it.
We couldn’t use the hot tub because there was nobody available, so the spa was closed and no access to the hot tub was allowed. This was at 6pm on a Thursday evening. We were told we could use the spa until 9pm. The men’s hot tub is out of order, which would’ve been nice to know prior to booking.

Positives:
Room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Loved the fact we could walk to the Detroit Tiger’s games. Enjoyed the choices of restaurants on-site.
Negatives:
There was a slight issue when we checked-in, as they had trouble finding our reservation, but it was quickly resolved and the staff was very apologetic and even gave us a resort credit for the restaurants which was lovely.
