Positives:
The hotel was amazing, from the front desk to elevators to the restaurant! We did a walk through when we arrived. Elevators will not let you go to your floor or any other without using your room key. This to us was nice as it insured security. The front desk and even the women cleaning were super friendly. We went to the restaurant inside the hotel after walking around and the bartender ericka was absolutely wonderful!!!! She had a wonderful attitude and made the end of our night very enjoyable!
Negatives:
Rooms were slightly basic for the amount I felt. The shower was absolutely amazing though. The rooms were very simple. Although the remainder of the hotel and outside scenery surely made up for this. I was not at all disappointed with our purchase !!!!!

Secure and by far worth...
Positives:
The staff was wonderful! Made our honeymoon magnificent. The staff knew we got married in a sunflower field and put a congratulations card with sunflowers in our room. The personal touches just made us feel important.
Negatives:
Glasses from other events were left in the elevator and firepit.

For some reason they thought it a good idea to charge $20 to park our car there for the night. I’ve been charged to park a car at hotels in downtown Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, San Diego. For semi obvious reasons. But to pay $20 in an area that has abundant parking and nobody is clamoring to find a vacant spot, just absolutely seems like gouging customers that are already paying quite steep prices for a room.

This is a quality hotel. Room was lovely. Very quiet. Staff very nice. Classy. It is a cut above.
Negatives:
It is overpriced for the location. We felt a little like dealing with the airlines. They charge $20 to park on top of very high room rates. This is not NYC. This is Rochester Michigan. We arrived a bit early. I called and asked if early check in was allowed. They said yes, the room was ready. We showed up and we're told it was an extra fee. After I complained the waived it. We were wondering if we would get charged by the flush. Breakfast is not included.
