Disappointing stay - cleaning and maintenance issues
I recently stayed at the Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Roseville/Detroit Area, Roseville and unfortunately my experience was not up to par. While the location of the hotel was convenient, the rooms did not meet my expectations.
Upon entering my room, I was hit with a strong cigarette smell that lingered throughout my stay. The sheets, pillowcases and towels gave off the same unpleasant smell. I hoped I could sleep comfortably at night, but the pungent smell made it difficult to relax.
Also, there were some strange noises in the room that sounded like creaking and moaning, which made me feel uncomfortable. I also noticed that the peepholes on the door had been sanded, making it difficult to see outside.
What worried me the most was that Booking.com did not mention any of these issues in their description or reviews. I felt cheated and disappointed by the lack of transparency.
I hope that the hotel management takes these problems seriously and takes necessary measures to solve them. Until then, I would caution others to carefully consider their decision to stay here.

The bedding was dirty and trash behind the headboard.

Everyone was very accommodating throughout my two weeks day. Everyone was polite and professional, and always willing to help property was clean but dated.
Negatives:
The filter needed to be changed in the room. A candle would not even take away. The stale smoke toilet ran continuously no loud noise between the walls happened occasionally overall, Stay was great.

Restaurant was attached to hotel and offered late hours went for date night so there wasn’t slot of people and we had drinks and appetizers so it was cozy and perfect. Rates for jacuzzi room was great. After a little romantic touch up I brought along to spruce up the room it was great

Jacuzzi was old and had hair in drain had to clean for 30min before using . Couch had a few stains but I always bring a throw no matter what hotel.

I needed to either cancel my reservation,or at least get the dates changed. Upon sending a request via email,I never Got a response. I'm very disappointed in the unprofessional manner in which this was handled. I had been staying there overnight on a fairly regular basis. However,in the future I will likely choose other accommodations.
