Location was great for exploring the centre of Traverse City.
Negatives:
Bathroom was tiny. Also noticed after getting home and checking the invoice that the 'facility fee' is 8%. I presume this is the 'resort fee'. Apart from my annoyance at a separate fee for what you are paying to stay in a hotel for, that should be included into the room rate, when I checked on their website it currently states the facility fee is 5% so that needs to be updated as no doubt guests are all being charged 8% like us. At nearly 10% additional on the room charge it's something for others to be aware of.

Expensive, outdated facilities. The shower is tricky you need a lot of muscles to pull out the shower knob. We cannot figure it out how to on the shower have to call the maintenance to do it because it is too old. LOL the price of our room for $450 seems not worth it better to get an Airbnb. But the receptionist was friendly and the staff did their job to accommodate us. If you have a pet that is additional $50. If you leave your pet and make a noise or get a complain you will pay additional $250.

Location is great. Very walkable.
Negatives:
The room is nothing special, similar to a LaQuinta. Our room 221 was next to something mechanical that made increasing/decreasing howling sound all night.
Breakfast was overpriced and sitting in grease (hash browns and bacon). Bubba's breakfast was way better.
