The front desk staff were very nice. Only had 1 bath towel in room, they gave us the 2nd one!
Negatives:
No coffee maker in the room. I am not comfortable going to the lobby in pjs to get my morning coffee. No microwave. No other chair to sit on. The biggest thing was the Breakfast attendant, on the morning of 8/18, she was taking care of the food(stirring eggs etc) she grabbed her crotch then her butt and touched the food. She then moved to the bread area, scratched her butt touched the bread ungloved. That is outrageous and disgusting. Never staying at a Tru by Hilton again

Dirty shower, contact lens in sink. Employee who was refreshing the breakfast area was witnessed with hand in her pants adjusting or scratching herself right before refilling food area or two different days and picking nose during the refill.

Checkout was at 12pm, which was nice. The staff were friendly and breakfast was decent. The complementary bottled water was nice. The location was good. Not far from the Detroit Zoo.

I would have liked to see zip around mattress protectors on the beds.
