Negatives: No breakfast

Negatives: The room had a dog smell. But nothing I couldn't get out of the room. Some spray. Disinfectant. I cleaned myself in any room.

Negatives: I did not like sharing a room with roaches. I had ONE crawl across the floor and found several DEAD with a trap behind the refrigerator and one dead in the microwave. It was disgusting!!!! I checked out Immediately after finding these bugs and said I'd rather sleep in my car

Negatives: There were roaches and the bathroom was gross!

Negatives: Everything price is ridiculous

Negatives: Everything was fine

Negatives: They have a pet rule that we could not leave our dogs alone in the room unattended. We came to Detroit area to worrk for doordash.

Negatives: Mismanaged. Went to our room at check in there was a guy smoking in the room stating he was maintenance. Sink stopped up every time it was used. Beds were hard and on hard platforms. Then moved the pillow to find rocks under them. It would appear that it is used as a live in hotel with substances issues. Property was run down on the outside. Hasp locks on doors that have been kicked in. Loud fights in hallways just not a mental comfortable place. Even going to the front desk the team seems to be buddies with them so saying anything would have just made our stay more uncomfortable. So Im usually a fan of Motel 6 the ones In other states that Ive stayed in are great. I will not be recommending the one in Detroit. So Im not sure if it is just the area and they cater to that or if its the management of this location.

Negatives: I stayed at this location a few years ago for a couple of months and I figured the price would have increased but in my opinion, the improvements that were made were not worth the extreme price increase. The door didn't lock securely when we left the room. It could be opened from outside with a hard shove. There was water on the floor in the bathroom every day even when the tub/shower wasn't used but I couldn't tell where it was coming from and water dripped from the ceiling vent so we got wet when using the toilet. When I told the front desk we were checking out I explained that we were in the process of moving and it was taking a little longer to get everything out of the room. They said no problem at first but then charged us for a full additional day. When we were completely out, there were MULTIPLE empty rooms available as well as we left the room very clean with more than enough time to change the bedding and toiletries for any new guest(s) if by chance ALL of the other rooms were suddenly reserved. I was on the 3rd floor facing east and saw more than 10 empty rooms on the east side alone as I was leaving. I understand there are policies but when the guest is communicating and not interfering with new business sometimes humanity should override.
