Honestly, it’s sad how much...

Not much except the location was in the area we wanted to be in.
Negatives:
I did the pre-check in on the website which was easy, however, upon arrival, they made me complete all of the same info again which was a waste of time. Then, the room smelled awful. It smelled of mildew so much we went to Walmart and bought a candle to burn all night to mask the nasty smell.

Positives:
It was a great spacious room for a pretty cheap price, and close to downtown without it being an insane detour. Clean place, easy to work with staff, and very simple check in and out procedures. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay near downtown Minneapolis without breaking your wallet.
Negatives:
The parking lot is right next to a busy Culver's so there's a lot of spillover traffic, but that's just due to an unfortunate location.

Smell of cigarette smoke, I was given 2 hand towels and told "you make do" when I asked for 2 additional towels so each member in my party had a towel, the pillows were ridiculous, the carpet was sticky, and the outlets were worn out so our elyronics couldn't charge!

Facility was drab and unkept. Needs a complete update and repair. Tub / shower area was moldy and bathroom filthy. Breakfast was a joke and basically had nothing worth eating. Hot water for tea or oatmeal was cold. TV would not work and staff could not figure out how to fix it - so I did myself. Finally, the staff, rude and unprofessional. From front desk to workers, they seemed to be not interested or concerned in anything. No one apparently could not understand or speak English which made the stay very hard to deal with and uncomfortable.
