Well, this is a bit silly, but having freshly made waffles in the morning would have made the stay perfect. We like the waffle maker people can use on their own to make fresh waffles. Some of the staff seemed a bit crabby, but I am too sensitive, so it was probably just my perception.

Upon check in I was told that my reservation was still "being processed" into their "system. I was told to step aside and give it a little bit of time to process. After 15 minutes of standing in the lobby waiting to check in with my paid reservation and confirmation numbers, emails and my receipt I was told the same thing again. This became a stand off at the front desk for 1 hour and 45 minutes! My family had been waiting restlessly in the vehicle outside as I continued to stand and wait. I must say that the frog desk woman that helped that day was very kind and I could see her confusion and frustration as well and it made me feel more comfortable with the horrible experience. However, I just feel that we should have been offered by hotel for compensation to accommodate their failure to provide guest services with the comfort as promised. It was a very long and frustrating trip and thought comfort inn was our best pick to stop and rest which turned out to be our never forgetful nightmare. :(

The property was nearby the freeway and other shops for easy access. We got a discounted price on the room which made it very affordable and drew us to the property.
Negatives:
I know that the property was a motel vs a hotel and was likely why it had a discounted price. The room was clean but run down and there was gross stains around the room.

A great stay, with ease...

Location great for people passing through but not wanting to stay DT.
Negatives:
Their keycard machine was down so we were handed cards for our room - but they didn’t work. So we had to have the front staff escort us to our room every time we came and left.
The room had a pretty bad smell in it, but the beds looked clean enough . Overall, you kinda get what you pay for this place.
