Chair missing in room. We have stayed in this hotel many times over the years, the hotel is very run down from what we are used to seeing. The price is wayyy high for the condition of the hotel.

Oh, where to start. It felt like we were staying at a 1999 hotel, but for 2024 4-star hotel price. Noisy hallways, doors that slammed too loud, stains on ceiling and bathroom. Not good at all. Will not stay here again.

The first night my shower head just dribbled water. I made the best of it. Maintaine came and fixed my shower. Something was broken in the valve. The second night it worked fine. That should have been fixed before I rented the room.

The restaurant on the top of the hotel was great
Negatives:
I didn't care for the room size. The TV barely worked. We called a few times about it and nothing was done. the staff was rude and tried turning it around on us that it was our fault. I will NOT stay here again. The elevators are very small so if you have a lot of luggage you would need to make multiple trips. The hot tub was half full and barely warm. Because the jets weren't fully under water they just splashed water in your face. It had parts missing also. We had a horrible experience at the hotel.

Just in general, it's old and run down, but I'm sure it's very hard to maintain such a large facility, and they're trying..... the retro vibe was cool in lots of areas like the lobby area and the rotating restaurant.
Negatives:
Just run down. Elevator shook. The Duluth downtown is great compared to Minneapolis or St Paul but still not ideal. The price was very high but not as high as it would be if it were up to date plus they have to make money.
