Most important was the cleanliness of our room and the public areas. A+
I did not expect a breakfast so it was a nice bonus! Good grab and take items. Very clean area and well supplied. Love having coffee and choice of creamers available all hours.
Also we asked for a quiet area and our room was as far from the elevator as possible. Very quiet. Nice choice of TV channels. We enjoyed the Family Movie Channel.
Negatives:
A separate lounge chair with foot rest by the window would be a plus. Larger pillows or different thicknesses of pillows. They were too plump for our comfort.

The rooms are nice and clean. The whole hotel and surrounding property is nice and well maintained! The staff is exceptionally friendly and courteous! The area for pets have a walking trail, puppy poo bags, nice clean grassy area and seating area.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the high quality of this Motel 6. Past experiences made us a bit leary but this one far out paced any others we have stayed in before. I liked the bed quite well but my husband was a bit uncomfortable in it. It was surprisingly quiet, but then the road outside this one was closed for construction, so no traffic went by. My hope is that in this newer motel, or newly remodeled state, the quality of this facility will be prioritized and maintained rather than allowed to get run down. (P.S. I think the value of this motel is better than the Marriott that we stayed at the next night at a much higher cost. Just my opinion, though others may have a different opinion.)

150.00 deposit for pets, I understand that there are damages at times, but we have stayed at this Motel 6 for approximately 14 times when visiting the Mankato area and have always brought our dogs, and nothing damaged.
