I like it the gal who handled the continental breakfast was amazing and the poor guy behind the desk when I checked in was pretty calm and cool and collective considering he was in the middle of chaos

I came down there with a friend see a concert and it was total chaos when we got there the valet parking was screwed up beyond belief and once we did get our vehicle put away it was almost a 3-hour wait in line to get checked in we missed half of our event that cost us a lot of money

The staff and valet were great.
Negatives:
The bathroom had a Bobby pin on the floor leftover from the previous guests and the hand soap dispenser was empty. The breakfast area never had any yogurt, or bakery items during the half hour we were down there. The pool table area was a mess with broken chalk on the floor. I thought I was getting two queen beds not one queen and a pull out couch. I also thought that there was a pool she. I reserved, which could’ve been my mistake. It seemed very short staffed.

Breakfast was sad and part of the lobby wasn’t open hotel doesn’t look like the photos they had a little store to buy from.
Negatives:
he staff was not competent. We changed into 3 room delaying our checkin by an hour into 1am. The room we were set in was not the correct one we paid for. The bath was dirty with previous soap residue in the shower and only one towel. The next morning trying to resolve the issue the front desk rep was very rude, loud and had attitude on resolving the problem. All we asked is to be in a room we paid for. I asked for a manager and never even got a response or any attempt to resolve the issue from the manager. Front desk abruptly said get your thing and we’ll change the room, as if that wasn’t what should have happened to begin with. It was very disappointing stay and soured the trip.

My Experience at the Home 2 Suites by Hilton Downtown Minneapolis was a mixture of mostly great. First and foremost, George on the hotel day shift staff consistently out did himself with his dedication to everyone for the free breakfast service. George also has an extensive knowledge of the area and was so friendly and helpful. The accommodations and location were unbelievable. Fifteen minute walk to US Bank Stadium and Target Field. The only issue was the evening and overnight staff were little to nonexistent. On two occasions it took fifteen minutes to contact anyone. Then Saturday night we ended up having a on call electrician open the storage room to get a blanket for the pull out couch. With that being said, the great outweighed the not so good. I will definitely be back.
