Positives:
Pleasant staff, nice variety on the breakfast, convenient to Mayo Clinic with a complimentary shuttle.
Negatives:
The complimentary shuttle ran on a set schedule approximately every 40 minutes so careful planning for appointment times is necessary.
If additional testing is ordered from the clinic requiring an extra night or so, don’t count on the hotel extending your stay ( happened to us and we had to move to another hotel after front desk said they would put us on a waiting list - behind 5 others- 3 of which didn’t even have reservations confirmed and were just waiting- this fact moved us to 3 because we were given preference because we were in house and they were to notify us- never happened to say yes or no! Fortunately for me, I already made a different reservation and went back to the hotel I used 2 years ago.
Review
This hotel is convenient to most places. The room we stayed in was clean but had a slight moldy/musty smell- nothing unbearable once the air was circulated a bit. A nice breakfast was available daily. Overall a good value for the money.
