Positives:
The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms spacious. The beds were comfortable, and the staff was helpful. It was over all a great stay, close to our conference, and I would stay here again. Breakfast was great as well and great coffee.
Negatives:
Knowing that there was not parking as we went round and round trying to figure out where to park, but there was only Valet parking.
No Hot tub.

From an outsider, it feels like a safe area. The old building has a lot of character and once you’re in the rooms you get a nice modern feeling as well. The gals at the front check in were very nice.
Negatives:
The only parking ramp that isn’t valet parking is across the street and down a half block. Not much of an issue if you’re able bodied and can carry your bags easily.

Lighting is absolutely horrible. Especially in the bar. Bar poorly stocked and staff very unmotivated. Needs a manager who understands how to make both the place look and feel welcoming. Should be fabulous a very flat uninspired experience at the moment. Would two little to sort but of motivation to do so

Positives:
The architecture was amazing as it was an old post office. I loved that the location was right next to the Amtrak station so that I could walk to catch my early morning train. It is a really cool historical building in downtown St. Paul.
Negatives:
I really wish that there was more choices for food late at night. I arrived at 7 pm and had to wait to eat until morning as all of the nearby restaurants were only open for lunch. I advise planning ahead and packing a dinner.
