Business purpose was meetings at Winona State University. Great location, close to campus. Beautiful city. Really nice, clean, and updated property. Sunday was crowded, but the nice breakfast was able to handle things.

Breakfast was pretty good. Oatmeal and souffl were very good. Eggs were rubbery. Facility was very nice although pool was a little small.
Negatives:
The bed was so hard and uncomfortable that my husband is still hurting. The second night we were there he slept on the comforter for more cushion.

It was better than my expectations. The service was hospitable. The place was clean and well-maintained by staff. I also like the local newspapers.
Negatives:
I didn't like having to submit a credit card for incidentals, an outdated and unnecessary practice that puts my financial identity at risk.
