Extended Stay America Suites - St. Louis - Earth City

Negatives: We had to wait over an hour to get checked in. My family was tired from traveling and we were made to wait while they dealt with a computer issue even though we had paid in advance. I do not intend to stay at another Extended Stay again.

Negatives: Bad smells, lots of smokers right outside of the building and hallway windows left open so smoke smell was everywhere

Negatives: Phone didn't work

Negatives: Your door keys where locked out daily. Not the best of appliances to use.

Negatives: A little noisy a couple nights

Negatives: The fluctuations in the room prices and after being moved my room was very used and I didn't want to be responsible for something that I didn't cause

Negatives: There was nothing to complain about. Except they had no breakfast options.

Negatives: The door card wouldn't open the after several attempts had to get the attendee to unlock the door. The rooms were not right. I could pay for 4 rooms at one time. I was told that I had to pay for each room separately as my family checked in. I live 1.5 hours away and explain that family members would be arriving at various times. I was then told to go to extended stay website and pay for the rooms. One family member arrived from Texas and was told the room was canceled, but I had paid for all 4 rooms. All of this caused me and my family stress, being that it was my 70th birthday celebration. I was late getting to my party. One room someone's cat had scratched the sofa and had a bad smell.

Negatives: The bathroom wasn't cleaned up well. Had hair in the bathroom toilet and tub. There was no staff at the reception desk, I had to wait for 10 minutes before on showed up. I was on when someone walked up on the third floor, you could hear squeaking noisee.

Negatives: First it said we were a mile from venue when we were almost 8. The hotel was disgusting, Hallways smelled like human urine, floors in room were very damp, air was damp which made room damp and sticky. Everything was old, electricity in room was a little nerve-wracking. Didn't have time to complain because we were running late to show then even later when found out it was 8 Mile's and not one

Negatives: The bath tub was gross. Had Pube hairs and other pieces of stuff floating when I went to run a bath for my toddler. I cleaned it and then noticed there was brown stuff dripping down the walls of the tub as well. Couldve easily been fixed by being cleaned properly. The kitchen counters had coffee leftover on them that couldve easily been wiped off. No ice anywhere. When I tried to call to get cups I called three times and no answer so had to go down to the desk to get them.
