Will not stay at the Resident Inn in Joplin, MO again
Negatives:
The staff was rude, homeless people all around the parking lot that we were charged to park in plus a $20.00 a day charge for any charges to the room while the motel posted a sign that said not responsible for damage to vehicles. Really

We had the studio room. Very roomy. Loved it

I like the hotel is very accommodating they let us check in early with no problems and no hesitation to make sure that we had a lower level room because of my boyfriend's broken foot.

I do feel that the hotel is sort of getting out of date and it's a little expensive for what it really is a lot of things are looking very old it's not as clean as I would think it would be but overall it's a pretty good hotel

Being charged for parking. Although it's very minimal, I have never been charged for parking at a hotel unless in a large metro city before.

The staff was fantastic and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean. The location was great. BREAKFAST was phenomenal.
Negatives:
The downside was how loud my room was. I got ZERO sleep thanks to the traffic, which sucks because that is pretty important. If they had better sound proofing, this stay would have been perfect.

It was quiet not very many people there and the room was a decent size but not big enough to say it was a "suite"
Negatives:
The 1st room I was given at check in wasn't clean, I took pictures of the bathroom and living room areas that were dirty. Also someone used the bathroom shower and left a wash cloth on shower curtain railing; it was still wet with pubic hairs on the towel!

I don't believe I will stay there again, it cost me $280+ for just one night bc of the date mistake
