Negatives:
The rooms had automatic shut off for AC. It was very hot outside so coming back to the room in the afternoon when the AC hadn't been running was not fun. It also seemed to shut off when we were sleeping since no one was moving creating a hot room during the night. Also, our room smelled like backed up sewage. The room was two queen beds and they only gave two towels. The water pressure in the shower was low and we had to take the drain out for the tub to drain while we showered.

Location was OK, but you r staff was not very knowlegdable about what was around or what time the places closed. The area looked deserted.
Negatives:
The thing that was most upsetting was the TV reception, tried watching the Game and the reception would cut out every few seconds. Worst reception I have ever seen. Room took a while to cool down....

Perfect getaway for our 34th...
Positives:
It is a beautiful historic building. The location was conveniently located for downtown and sports park activities. Our room was very comfortable and well stocked. Very clean. We enjoyed the museum. It would be a beautiful venue for an event. Parking was super convenient across the street. We found a great brunch spot around the corner. The Savoy bar inside the hotel was a perfect stop for a nightcap. Great stay.
Negatives:
The entrance was a little strange, down a long hallway. It didn’t affect our stay but we weren’t sure we were going in the right entrance.

The breakfast was good value for money. We were upgraded (but only because our room wasn't ready).
Negatives:
Our room wasn't ready at 4pm when we came to check in. We waited for 10-15 minutes and then were given a suite and one free drink (although there were 2 of us). The suite was a nice gesture, but I was traveling with my son so he slept on the couch in the front room, which meant that we really didn't take advantage of the extra space.
Our room was not cleaned at all during our 2 night stay.
Also, there was some confusion about the billing, even though I went to the front desk to check out. I still have a large pre-authorisation well above what I owed taken off my credit card a week after my stay.

The property has no parking area unless you pay extra to park, the staff would not take my booking confirmation number and said that that number was useless. I asked if I would still get the same rate as I was quoted for my booking and they claimed yes. Lie. I was charged $104.00 more than my quote. I have reached out to the property and have yet to hear back about the charge on my credit card .

When we arrived, the valet sold us on the safest option for our car being their $40 a night valet. Unfortunately, their parking lot isn't secure, and someone busted a window to break into our car. The bath tub also had issues filling with water during the shower, and the bathroom had a strange odor. We ended our stay early because we couldn't stay there with a busted out window.
