I absolutely loved this hotel.. soon as I walked in, I was greeted with smiling faces..The receptionist told me about a great Bbq restaurant, and it was great..the hotel was very clean and the beds were comfy..I really enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard at night..Great place to stay...

I was surprised that I had reserved a suite with a kitchen! I was really just looking for a standard room. Must have been my error when booking. I really like the showers!

I was very disappointed in the breakfast. Not a fan of turkey sausage and even though I was on the earlier end of breakfast you were out of sausage. The potatoes were mushy and tasted greasy. Couldn’t eat them. The cook did not get the eggs cooked correctly and as I am gluten free about all that was left was gluten free bread which is always bad everywhere. You would be better off with a breakfast like most places serve. Or just change the potato type or give one option of turkey meat and then a regular pork option.

EVERYTHING about the Element was phenomenal. The young lady that was the overnight front desk staff was AWESOME, she was extremely kind, helpful & was able to answer questions with adequate and appropriate answers, which is a PLUS in this day & time. If we should ever be in the KC Area, we will definitely be staying at the Element…lastly, the Bartender made one hell of a Bloody Mary, which he called a Bloody Maria.
Negatives:
Our only complaint, was the POOL, which was unbelievably small & indoors, that didn’t even bother me because I’m not a swimmer, but if we would’ve brought our grandson, he would’ve complained & been disappointed. Of course when we vacation with our grandson, we stay at places that have BOTH inside & outside pools.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Surprisingly quiet for being so close to the trains! The staff was friendly. Nice that they have happy hour and breakfast. The receptionist also gave us a coupon for a local pizza place that wound up being pretty good.
Negatives:
Water pressure was lacking and it took a while for it to warm up first thing in the morning for a shower. The TV channels wouldn't come up, so we just signed into my boyfriend's YouTube.

We enjoyed the overall look and location of this property. It was close to the highway and airport but still sat in a quiet space and we did not hear any noise from outside at all. The property itself was large and pleasing to the eye. It was overall very quiet and just had a relaxing vibe. All of the staff members we encountered were accomodating and very friendly. No issues there! The room was a good size and we loved that we had a full-size fridge and plenty of space to spread out. The bed was also very comfortable. In the morning, you could choose to order whatever they were preparing fresh for a hot breakfast or they had options for cereal, a yogurt bar, and a variety of bagels and bread. The breakfast for us was an omelet, sausage, and English muffin with avocado. It's not a lot of variety but we enjoyed that.
Negatives:
Part of the reason we chose this hotel was because it had a pool and we had children with us. The pool area looked good at first glance but was EXTREMELY slippery and not very clean. They chose to use cloth-covered chairs and they appeared very stained due to getting wet often. The ground around the pool did not look clean at all and as I said, was very slippery. I get wet, hard surfaces can be slippery but it was bad compared to most other experiences. The water was also freezing cold and honestly, smelled like feces. We couldn't get the shower in the pool to work to rinse before we went back to our room because we felt so gross. We fully showered the second we got back to our room.
We also purchased snacks in the market area only to discover they were out-of-date when we got back to the room. I went back up front to see if there were any that weren't out-of-date and there were not. They did take them back and take them off of our bill. I just think maybe more checking dates would be beneficial.
