Staff was friendly even though it was busy due to multiple events happening. Did not have very much breakfast due to the amount of people that were eating at the time. Nice security measures in place as well. If you are going up to see a family member in the Kansas University hospital there is a special room rate that is provided but you have to call the hotel directly.
Negatives:
Overall facility was nice. Parking garage is a little small to navigate due to it being under the building.

It was convenient to shopping and restaurants. The Hotel itself was clean and updated

The staff were the most unwelcoming I have ever encountered at any hotel we have ever stayed.
From the initial check in to the check out the experience was the same.
We were made to feel as a complete inconvenience.
We had plumbing issues, and instead of being relocated to another room, the front desk manager said he would send maintenance up, I then restated that the issues has only gotten worse over the night and he still insisted maintenance. At no point did he apologize for the inconvenience or seem understanding. Again it was obvious I was a complete bother.
The maintenance worker was present, but he didn’t fix the issue, he just tinkered in the bathroom, and then sprayed a deodorizing spray. Which helped for a little while, long enough to keep us from being able to move rooms and having anything done because of the time of night.
It seems that no employee at this hotel enjoys their job nor their working environment. It was an extremely disappointing stay, and I will likely not ever rebook at another Hampton Inn.
