Angad Arts Hotel

Negatives: I stayed in a blue accent room, and the illumination was inadequate. The shade of blue used in the walls and the furniture was too deep, thereby making the room very dark at all times. The lamps provided were also not sufficiently bright and cannot be regulated. The work desk did not have a light, but a battery operated one was provided on request - not bright enough to work. The hotel should also seriously consider offering a buffet breakfast with the room rent. At present only a la carte options are available on payment basis, and it is not cheap. Bottled water was not available in the rooms, and the glass bottles from the restaurant were not cheap. I was curious about the art hotel concept, but there was very little artistic ambiance of my taste in the guest areas, or in the make up of the blue accent rooms. But then the preference for art vary from person to person, and it is likely that someone else may really like the decor.

Negatives: The gym was in a disastrous state. No AC or water available, dimmed light. Room service varied a lot from day to day.

Negatives: Waste of money. The tub was a regular bath tub. The tv didn’t work at all. The contractors that painted the place shouldn’t have a job in painting. Couldn’t get the room any cooler. The shower is set up weird so you get wet turning it on. Over all it pissed me off enough where I won’t even want to go to St. Louis ever again. Especially the “art” district. The only good thing about this trip was the bed.
