La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Westport

Negatives: Door keys dint work and had replaced 3 times. Elevator was broke during stay, hallways are dirty and run down, many amnentities in the room are very outdated.

Negatives: Hallways need better lighting. Extra bar soap in bath. Trash removed from hallways more often.

Negatives: The common areas are very run down, door keys didn't work 50% of time and tvs in the room are really small.

Negatives: It was disgusting...everything

Negatives: Shower tab on faucet did not work properly n carpet in hallway on 1st floor was horrendous looking.

Negatives: There could have been more selections with the meats and even have someone making fried eggs would have been nice. The eggs were runny and cold.

Negatives: Immediately upon checking in, we head to the elevator for our room on the 3rd floor, and the elevator is out of service, which in turn required us to walk all the way to the other end of the hotel up the elevator and then down to the other end. Obviously things are out of there control when things break however they should give a heads up before checking in for the inconvenience, reflect it in the price of the room or even have staff offer to help with luggage having to go across the hotel twice just to arrive at your room. As we started down the first hall, the smell of Marijuana was overwhelming. It continued throughout the hotel, and any time we opened our door to our room, the smell flooded the room. This brings me to my next issue. We booked our room for 4 guests. It was after 10pm when we arrived, and after a day of travel, we wanted quick showers for all four so we could get to sleep. As we get settled in and I start to get my two children ready for a shower, not only was the shower disgusting with visible soap scum all around but we only had 2 towels for all 4 of us. So my husband makes the hike all the way back down the 2 halls to get to the desk to ask for more towels. He gets back with them, and we start showers, and then I find we only have 1 wash cloth. I'm sure you can guess what my husband has to do yet again. I finished getting my 2 children showers and into bed to watch TV to occupy them while my husband and I can get our showers and of course the TV doesn't work! We finally get ready to lay down and noticed we could hear the outside noises really well so we then discovered the window to our room was not only unlocked but open. Thankful I was on the 3rd floor so no worry about a passerby but the fact it was open at all while my kids are small and playing around the room is terrifying. Should I have checked? I guess I can take the blame for that, but I didn't realize I needed to paying $150+ a night.
