Positives:
Well presented hotel. Clean rooms. The hotel had a decent position in the area, it was on the trolley loop system and the buses stopped quite close, there were enough good places to eat and shops nearby to distract us. Staff were as helpful as they could be.
Negatives:
Whilst the staff were helpful, we were more apt at apologising that they couldn't really be much help.
At dinner they apologised that they couldn't provide a simple request because they had a 'film night' and they were too busy to talk to us, and of course service took fat longer than it should have done. The waitress, although she started out seemingly stressed, she apologised profusely and kept us informed on how the food situation was developing. I can't complain too much, the food that we had was wonderful.
We requested a taxi to be ordered for the following morning, as we had to be at the Amtrak train station before 6.35am, they apologised saying they couldn't do that because they could never guarantee that the taxi would actually arrive, so of course it could never be their problem. They were helpful in suggesting that we ordered a Uber, we are both over 65, we had never ordered an Uber before. Luckily we got our heads around it and was able to set up and account and order one, which arrived and got us to the station on time.
