This is one of the only places with a roof top pool which is why we were drawn to it. The aesthetics is unique than other major hotel chains.
Negatives:
There are a number of things we didn’t like about this property. It seemed extremely understaffed. We actually found dead (bed) bugs under the covers and we got changed to a different room. Though the room changing process was seamless, we never got an apology or upgrade or anything, but we were happy than the second room was free of bugs. Our bed comforter was missing a cover. Also I feel like theres’s also a smell for being inside an old building. Pool has a very nice view but the towels were empty and we waited hours before they were replenished. Also, the roof top bar and restaurant were closed, probably due to understaffing.

We liked the hotel and its location. It worked for us for a one night stopover. It is next door to the City Museum which is an incredible playground for children and adults. Also has a museum of artifacts from buildings and other things.
Negatives:
Can't say we didn't like anything. WHen we were there the hotel was in transition so its restaurant and poolside bar were not operating. That would have been nice.

Do not stay here! I originally booked this hotel for the roof top pool, restaurant/bar and proximity to the arch. Reviews were great when I booked it but then new management took over and the reviews were very troubling... Restaurant and bar are no longer open, when the pool is open the hours are inconsistent and reports the hotel was understaffed. We were arriving late so I tried calling the number listed on booking.com but it took me to an immigration website so I was super sketched out. When I got the real number, no one answered after hours of trying and messaging the hotel. As 2 single females alone in a new city (and not in the best part of town) we were very uncomfortable staying here... So we didn't. We stayed at the Hyatt for $125 (this was a last minute booking in August 2025) and it was fantastic! I have been waiting for a reply from the hotel AND booking.com requesting a refund but I STILL have not heard back from either! We ended up paying for a room we never stayed in. Don't waste your time or money on this place!

Such a unique and stylish property! The room was gorgeously designed and very comfortable. The rooftop pool was spectacular. The staff were incredibly friendly and took time to tell us about the fascinating history of the building and point out some of its architectural details. Conveniently located next to the City Museum which was great!

Valet parking was pricey but worth it for the peace of mind since it's maybe not the best area of the city. Unfortunately the restaurant and bar were closed, but I understand that's a temporary issue.
