The Last Hotel

Negatives: the website advertises rooftop pool with a bar, Restaurant and room service none of which exist at this establishment. I would not have stayed there had i known. I am trying to be compensated for the false advertising

Negatives: Found out that the hotel was recently sold. So, there was no food services available and the lobby and rooftop bars were not open. Don't make a reservation without checking on those things.

Negatives: The rooftop closed at 7 pm and the rooftop bar was under construction, which was not listed on the website when booking. This was the main reason for us booking here from previous visits. Disappointed they did not disclose this information.

Negatives: We booked the hotel because of the roof top bar and restaurants. They were all closed the entire time. It was the sole reason we booked the hotel.

Negatives: The hotel ist undergoing a change in management and the bar and restaurant were closed. On the first day we didn't even have our own room keys and had to be accompanied to enter the room. The friendly staff was doing their best to make up for it but I booked because of the facilities. That we have not been informed before and nothing was offered to us was very unsatisfying.

Negatives: Bars weren't open. I was told this was due to a change of management and not yet having a license. Pool hours were 9 am to 7 pm, but it was locked when we went at 9 so we never got to use those facilities. This reduced the value of our stay.

Negatives: Not in a great neighborhood and parking was in a public lot for $30 a night and $10 every time you wanted to leave and come back. Wasn’t sure our car was going to be there in the morning. There key reader wasn’t working so we had to be escorted up to our room and let back in if we wanted to leave. Didn’t look at all what the pictures show of the outside. Hard to find since the only thing telling you it’s a hotel is a hotel is a small sign. The room was comfortable and clean. I wouldn’t stay here again and bummed I booked this place.

Negatives: Essentially all amenities are closed down. No restaurant, no bars. Pool was advertised as being open until 9pm but was closed at 7. Keycards didn’t work so security had to escort you to your room each time. Even the casting/streaming system for the TV was out of service leaving only basic cable to watch. Bags of trash in the hallway that were there our entire stay. Staff was relatively unfriendly and unapologetic about the fact that, at least at the moment, this hotel offers little more than a bed to sleep in (oh, but not enough pillows, so even that is barely up to standard).

Negatives: Well I didn’t like how there was no room service and the restaurant was close but they just changed management but they say everything will be back up in 2 months

Negatives: The room wasn’t clean the bed was messy with it not being done as well as crumbs and food underneath the bed and on the bed.

Negatives: Amenities: Upon check-in, we were informed the hotel restaurant and both hotel bars were going to be closed for the duration of our stay, this was not communicated to us at booking. When we arrived the bartenders were out front of the hotel & told us due to a change in management their liquor license wasn't renewed properly and that is why we couldn't be served. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel in particular was the rooftop pool and bar. The first day of our stay the rooftop pool had music playing and we made the best of not having the promised bar. For the remainder of the stay, they didn't even turn on the music for guests, and the pool hours changed from the listing/all signage on the property. Cleanliness: Due to the modern touches in the rooms I imagine they are a bit more difficult to clean, they need to put more of a focus here. The matte-painted walls in the restroom were dusty, the grout in the tile floor was dirty & needed a deep clean. The bag that the hairdryer was kept in was filthy with some sort of powder/residue and I didn't even want to touch it. We had the hang-sign on the door for the entire duration of our stay asking for the typical room touch up daily & that didn't happen a single time during the 5 days we were there. We had to request extra towels & toilet paper from the front desk multiple times before actually receiving it. Comfort & Misc: The beds are 100% not comfortable. An air mattress would have been nearly equivalent to these mattresses. You get two pillows on the bed, that's it. The headboards are a nylon/faux leather situation which appears very pretty and luxurious at first glance but ours had things etched into it by previous guests, names, hearts, etc.
