We didn't stay because of what we saw.
I asked the front desk for a refund after seeing the room, hallways and parking area.and strange people hanging around. We didn't feel safe at all. I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep and would worry all night. The place would be a good post-apocalyptic movie setting. My son compared it to East Colfax in Denver. We left and got a room at the Days Inn. I told the Days Inn front desk about our experience. She said several young girls had booked a room there but left in the middle of the night and slept in their car in the Days Inn parking lot. She said they were scared, upset and crying. Read the other reviews! I have stayed at other Motel 6's and had no problems. I sure hope you will honor our request for a refund.

As soon as I walked in, the musky smell of urine, weed and mold hit me. Saw black mold in the laundry area. Felt like I'd get a few STDs if I got in the bed. They didn't have hot water and said it's been out for three weeks without any idea when it's getting fixed. We left that petri dish for another hotel.

They over booked and had no room for me even though I had a paid reservation. There was a homeless couple and a big dog in the lobby. The next day 12 police cars arrived at the Motel 6 with flashing lights and remained there for hours.

The guy at the front desk honesty when he said to really check the room before check in. They were horrible.

The young man at the front desk let us go and check the room before completing our check in and charging us which was nice because there was not a chance I was staying there.

Was about 10 minutes to the hospital, accessible to the fast foods nearby and interstate.
Negatives:
That the room wasn't done at the time said it be done, the bathroom sink had standing water in it and the pipe was wrapped with electrical tape, the bathtub water slow draining and no trash bags in trash can. They only put one pillow per bed. The shower knob couldn't turn to warm it's either hot hot shower or ice cold shower. There were a lot of police at the motel and didn't know if was safe to stay there.

Key cards would not...I had to change rooms 3 times. Ice machine inop...was told to get Ice across the street! Only 7 sheets left on toilet paper roll and no extra roll. No Kleenex.
