Positives: That after looking at the room... the front desk said they would not charge me because the room had a horrible smell and needed a major update.

Negatives: The room had old red carpet that was worn, spotted and gross. The room had an overwhelming smell of room deodorizer. The entire hotel does not meet the standard I expect from Hampton Inn.
