Well from my first visit it was nice. This time around not so.
Negatives:
If you don't assess a fee on the first visit due to insufficient training of your staff then don't be surprised that I seem surprised and snipped about a $200 fee just to sleep. At that rate plus the actual amount for the room, I might as well go glam and sleep at a much pricier hotel with far less of the judgement and ridicule for being a local resident. Policy is policy though, I swallowed it, cancelled my reservation and gave you a free first and last $80 which would've been better spent on anything but your hotel. Glad I could convince my out of town friends not to go there to. That made me feel better about this experience.

Super comfortable beds, very quiet overall. My kids loved the pancake machine.
Negatives:
We booked because of the pool (kids 5 & 8, staying for 4 nights while in town for a family event so wanted the added entertainment and place to release energy), but it was so freezing cold that we could only stay in for a few minutes. Overall a pleasant stay but it felt overpriced for what it was, and the pool was a disappointment.

The cookies in the evening were the best part.
Negatives:
The pool was so cold you could not stay in. They claimed to not have any extra towels. So it was two towals for three people. Plus no extra from the pool. Employee was to busy smoking out front to be bothered. The smell of weed was so strong on the second floor it could be smelt threw the huge gap around our door. The bathroom had mold growing on the ceiling and around the shower. The hot water was less then warm, the toilet would not flush a 100%.

Positives:
The woman at the front desk was helpful and friendly. This hotel is close to town center with a coffee shop and laundromat not too far away, it has a well lit parking area.
Negatives:
The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, the toilet seat was broken and there was dirt on the bathroom floor. This room was pet friendly so there's no carpet but there was gritty dirt all over the bare floor. Dust on the furniture and lamps too.
