We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is clean, updated, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk and breakfast ladies were lovely as well.
Negatives:
We don't usually stay at these budget hotels so, I can't speak to anything underwhelming. We paid a lot more than we should have because it was a home game weekend.

Positives:
The hotel is older but is kept up very well. Aside from the issues in the other section of my review, I would recommend this hotel for business travel. Breakfast starts at 6, which is nice for those who have to get an early start. It consisted of cereal, a waffle maker, scrambled eggs and sausage, juice, and prepackaged pastries (honeybuns, twinkies, chocolate snack cakes.) There is a nice patio out back by the pool which I unfortunately didn't get to enjoy as the pool door was the entry point for that area and the pool is currently "closed for maintenance." However it looks lovely and relaxing. There is a bar and grill and a gas station practically in the parking lot, so you don't have to travel far for food and drinks if you don't desire.
Negatives:
I paid extra for a suite because the listing photos for the room included a jacuzzi tub, This was my sole reason for paying the extra cost of a suite over a traditional room. The room did not have a jacuzzi tub. Also, the bathtub did not drain properly so showers were a bit a of a splashy situation. There is not an elevator, which may be prohibitive for some guests. When attempting to check out, there were no staff to be found even after ringing the bell and waiting 10-15 minutes. This didn't bother me much as I know staff has other things to attend to and I just left a note with my keys.

The air conditioner did not get cold and the person in charge when checking out did not care or wanted to fix the issue.
