About This Property

Featuring a 24-hour casino, this resort is a 5-minute drive from Lake Tahoe. All rooms include free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy restaurants and bars on site. Positives: Beautiful location in a very upper end neighborhood. The staff was super friendly and helpful and made great recommendations, including restaurants. The room was comfortable. You can do a great walk through the neighborhood which is lovely with big homes and great landscaping.

Negatives: Although we were technically out of season and the crowds were less, the only hotel restaurant at the beach that was open was crowded and even at 1;30 there was an hour wait for the table. The alternative Lone Eagle only offered a buffet as it was Sunday at $70 a person. We had to order a salad from a shop inside the hotel, that was just okay. The breakfast area was also overcrowded. And this was on a Monday out of season. For a large hotel it was inadequate. Luckily one of the workers recommended an outiside restaurant- the Sage Leaf where we ate regularly and it was fantastic.
