The place to stay for...
Positives:
Very understated tasteful decor. No gambling facilities within the Delano premises itself. Fabulous view from the 64th floor from the vantage point at the beginning of the Strip so as to see the whole town. Very large suite with a fully separate bedroom. A luxurious super bathroom with both a large bath and very large shower. Two discrete separate toilets.
The fact that the whole of the facilities and amenities of the Manadalay Bay were seamlessly available, including some great dining facilities, shows and casino.
Negatives:
The only criticism would be access to the pool which was only possible by walking through almost the whole of the Casino floor of the Mandalay Bay. A separate discrete access as in some other LV hotels would be much more comfortable.
Slightly confusing check-in which didn't tell us of the map of the whole premises which we had to scan. We would have preferred a hard copy map.
The inability to purchase VIP tickets for the Michael Jackson show without the whole VIP experience. We would have preferred the possibility of VIP section seats with a bottle of champagne between two as a package.
