About This Property
Located directly on the Las Vegas Strip, this resort features an 11-acre beach and a casino. This hotel also includes rooms with a 42-inch flat-screen TV. At Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, every room features floor to ceiling windows, as well as a seating area. Two outdoor splash swimming pools complete with a lazy river and a real sand beach are all featured at the Mandalay Bay beach. Private poolside cabanas and a full-service spa are also available. A conference center is available for business guests. Guests can take advantage of many on-site dining options, such as Stripsteak and Border Grill. Lovely comfortable bed.
Negatives:
The pillows were too soft and for the high standards of the hotel I was surprised that there were no options for firmer pillows. This surprised me as in Australia for this level of resort you normally get a pillow menu. I was a little underwhelmed with the cash grab for everything. A small Starbucks coffee cost me $6.50 ++. Also I’m not sure what the daily resort fee that is added to your room is for. I wanted a poolside bed only to be told it would cost me $100+. In my opinion given the baking sun and the risk of skin cancer every pool bed/chair should have shade unless you opted out

Pool was cold. Over crowded, slow service at pool & unfriendly. Pool area was dirty. The bathroom in our room was not clean enough. We found hairs in the shower & something on the wall behind the toilet.

Hotel too big and busy. Like a huge airport terminal! Also swimming pool area very crowded and not enough space. Also restaurants, bars and shops charge exorbitant prices even for essential things like water bottles.
