Harveys Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino

Negatives: Some of the elevators weren’t working, no coffee shop, no bathtub, temperature control in room didn’t work right & hot tub was closed.

Negatives: The room . Wallpaper falling off , pillows lumpy. Bed was hard. Low lighting in hallway and room . Upon check in they asked if we wanted to upgrade with additional cost because our room had no view. Well they were right our view from the 4th floor was the top on all the AC and boiler units! Terrible. Small elevator. There were dogs staying in our floor that barked all night .

Negatives: I would’ve given this an excellent and a five stars except there was no room service and there was no coffee shop open at night. We were there Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and the steakhouse was closed Tuesday and Wednesday. I still enjoyed our stay very much. We went to the steakhouse over at Harrah’s.

Negatives: Room had duct tape on the floor. It was old and smelly. Looking out the window was garbage and cigarette butts all over. It was disgusting. Showed the manager and she said “they aren’t in the room!” No one came in to clean our room. They don’t have Cleaning service. If you need towels you text them and the throw them by your door!!

Negatives: Hotel guess had to pay for parking.

Negatives: We got charged twice for parking; the room key wouldn’t work when we left. The elevators were slow and we had to wait 4x before we could get on to go down.

Negatives: What the website and booking area does not tell you, is that there is a “new” tower and a “classic” tower. The classic tower I assume is called that because it has not been renovated for over 80 years. The rooms are disgusting, they are dirty and smell musty and old. The walls are covered in scoff marks and our room has duct tape all over the floor covering good knows what. One of the parties in my group had 50+ cigarette butts outside their window they overlooked the roof. There was trash everyone and the room smelt terrible. Staff was extremely rude when we voiced concerns. We are visiting during what everyone is saying is slow season. The hotel is empty so you’d think they’d want to keep their existing customers happy.
